On your Smart TV or display browser, navigate to tv.soundscreen.app. A 6-digit pairing code will appear.
Open the SoundScreen mobile app, tap "LINK TV", and enter the 6-digit code shown on your screen.
Go to "SCREENS" in the app. Select your linked TV and choose standard Landscape or our native Portrait engine.
Tap the purple "Catch the Groove" button. The app will identify the music and push the poster to your screens.
No. SoundScreen runs entirely through any web-enabled Smart TV (or a standard TV with an Amazon Fire Stick/Apple TV) and the mobile app on your phone.
Absolutely not. The app temporarily samples a short audio fingerprint to identify the track and instantly deletes it. No audio files are ever saved, stored, or transmitted to our servers.
If a track is too obscure or the room is too loud, the screen stays on the beautifully designed ambient standby dashboard. Pro users can also manually push custom artist/album art to the screens at any time.
Yes! Our unique "Sideways TV Engine" allows you to set any connected display to render perfectly in native Portrait mode.
