1. Agreement to Terms

These Terms and Conditions constitute a legally binding agreement made between you (the "User" or "Venue") and Resonance LTD regarding your access to and use of the SoundScreen application. The SoundScreen software is licensed to us by Backstagedigital LTD. By using the app, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

2. Description of Service

SoundScreen is a digital signage tool that utilizes your device's microphone to identify ambient music and display the corresponding track information and artwork on linked smart displays.

3. Subscriptions and Payments (SoundScreen Pro)

  • Billing: SoundScreen Pro is offered as a monthly subscription of £30/month. Payments are handled securely by Stripe.
  • Auto-Renewal: Your subscription will automatically renew each month unless canceled prior to the next billing cycle.
  • Cancellations: You can cancel your subscription at any time via the Stripe billing portal linked in your original receipt. Upon cancellation, you will retain access to Pro features until the end of your current billing period.

4. Acceptable Use and Restrictions

You agree not to:

  • Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the SoundScreen software.
  • Attempt to bypass or manipulate the subscription paywall or database rules.
  • Use the service for any illegal or unauthorized purpose.

5. Limitations of Liability and Disclaimers

  • Service Interruptions: SoundScreen relies on an active internet connection, third-party APIs (AudD), and your device's microphone. We are not liable for downtime, failed track identifications, or app interruptions caused by poor Wi-Fi, hardware failures, or API outages.
  • Accuracy: While our audio recognition engine is highly accurate, we do not guarantee that every song will be identified correctly.
  • "As Is" Basis: The app is provided on an "as-is" and "as-available" basis without warranties of any kind. To the fullest extent permitted by law, [Sales Company Name] and [Development Subsidiary Name] disclaim all liability for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the app.

6. Changes to the Terms
